At Healthcare Excellence Canada (HEC), we are dedicated to partnering meaningfully and integrating the lived experiences of patients, caregivers and communities into our work. Recognizing the importance of respectful, relational and reciprocal engagement, we have established our Guiding Principles of Engagement.

Co-developed with partners across the country, these principles outline HEC’s commitment to fostering an engagement-capable environment. We hold ourselves accountable through continuous reflection, ongoing evaluation and organizational discussions to ensure these principles guide our actions effectively.
